Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be released in Japan on NTT DOCOMO

The Sony Xperia X10 is planned for a Japanese release. The Japanese version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be rebranded as the XPERA SO-01B and released in Japan on NTT DOCOMO in April 2010. The device is featuring a 1 GHz processor, 8.1-megapixel camera with face recognition, a 4.0-inch wideVGA LCD with full touchscreen, WiFi, Mediascape, Timescape, social networking, Flexible UI and Japanese word prediction system POBox Touch 1.0. To sweeten the deal, NTT DOCOMO will sell the Xperia with a stereo headset and 16GB microSD card. The XPERIA X10 (SO-01B) is an Android powered device that is compatible with NTT DOCOMO’s high-speed HSUPA/HSDPA FOMA highspeed network. It will be available in Japan in April in two colors : “Sensuous Black” and “Luster White”. Pricing has not yet been confirmed.
