Scotiabank Partners With M-Com To Bring Mobile Banking To BlackBerry

Scotiabank announced a few days ago that they have teamed up with M-Com to bring a robust on device banking client to it’s account holders. With over 22 million cell phone subscribers in Canada, wireless phones are among the fastest growing consumer products in history,” said Mike Henry, Senior Vice President, Sales & Service, Scotiabank. “Canadians rely on the convenience of mobile devices to help them manage their busy lifestyles, and having the ability to do their banking from their mobile devices would simplify their lives that much more.” That’s a lot of mobile users. I can see some users not interested in this though for security purposes but M-Com outlines their security offerings on their website, worth a look for sure. Expect the services to launch in the spring of 2010.
