LG Chocolate is possibly the longest-running and most successful series from LG, the Black Label range comprises the Chocolate, Shine and Secret. Now we have the latest model in this range, the BL40. The LG BL40 is a unique handset that fits in a rather odd category due to it’s crazy aspect ration of 21:9 which makes it cinema style. Concerns over the length of the phone due to the large 4 inch screen and the 21:9 aspect ratio are answered in the pictures below. It measures the same length as the LG Crystal opened up and LG Secret opened up, but yet still seems to be a fairly decent, if not odd, size. Video playback is great on the phone and sound, provided by Dolby, is also excellent as can be expected. According to LG, the panel also features a dual-screen interface that can display two different types of content simultaneously. Other features include a 5-megapixel shooter with built-in flash and a front-facing camera for video calls. The handset also appears to have a new skin of the 3D S-Class interface. Materials-wise, the display has a curved tempered glass layer, while the rest of the chassis is adorned with a glossy black finish and red trimmings on the top and bottom edge.
