Google announced a new version 3.3 of Maps for Mobile
Google announced a new version of Maps for Mobile that offers several new features to users of the Windows Mobile and Symbian platforms. Both Google Maps for mobile and Google Maps for desktop browsers have long allowed user to add stars (bookmark) on a map to mark their favorite locations. Unfortunately, there was no way to keep these starred places in sync with Google Maps on your phone. The new version brings the ability to sync the places you star on Google Maps for desktop with the ones you star on your phone, and vice-versa. For users upgrading from an older version of Google Maps for mobile, you’ll be asked, when you log in, whether you’d like to synchronize your existing starred items with your Google Account. This means you can preserve all the work you’ve put into customizing your map on your mobile, and have it show up, conveniently, in Google Maps in your desktop browser.
