A 22-caliber handgun was found by Italian police during a search of a property in Naples as part of the fight against Camors, the Neapolitan Mafia. But the police were stunned when they seized a gun disguised as a mobile phone. Fully loaded, the gun’s capable of firing four shots in quick succession through the antenna using buttons on the keypad as the trigger. The phone gun has a dummy display and can hold and fire four .22 bullets. The .22-calbire rounds fit into the top of the phone, under the screen. Bullets are fired through the phone’s antenna by pressing keypad numbers five to eight. The phone gun is the same size as an ordinary mobile phone and capable of firing four rounds in quick succession. Bullets are loaded by twisting the phone. The phone transforms into “kill mode” by sliding the keypad section apart. Police said the device was fully loaded when it was found during an early morning raid against the Gionta clan crime family, who control the southern port city of Naples. A 28-year-old man was arrested during the raid but other gang members escaped.
