Scientists from the University of San Diego decided that the simple vibration of your phone is not enough, and want to show you something new and very much suitable for Halloween. Although it is not yet clear when or even whether the development will reach the market, the University is working on technology that not just your phone to vibrate, and could simulate touch on the shoulder, slap on the hand or similar feelings. Instead of a rather harmless jiggle in your purse or hip, the new cell phones could give you the sensation of a tap on your shoulder or someone rubbing your hand. There’s no explanation on exactly how this would work, but the report is coming from the Cognitive Science wing of UCSD, along with some help from Microsoft and others. Just imagine how spookey it would be when your phone rings you will get a tap on you shoulder and there is no one but you alone in your room!!!!!
