It simply sucks. Imagine witnessing the unveiling of a fantastic mobile handset, and to to be denied access to it through your local channels. Yup, HTC denied us , the us cell phoen users from having the Touch HD. Via Twitter, HTC has stated that it is too late to begin the process of landing approval to sell the Touch HD in the US and therefore it will simply skip it. Apparently HTC is already working on some other handsets, hopefully rocking Android, that it will grace the US market with and so by the time the Touch HD is ready to go it will be old news. Those of us who were looking forward to that beautiful 480 x 800 pixel WVGA display will either have to buy an import sans-compatible 3G or just forget about it and move on with our life.
