Though it is not entirely clear whether it is the previously rumored Sidekick Gekko/Aspen, but it has been confirmed that a new Sidekick has just been cleared by the FCC. And since this new Sidekick has a unique model number (PV210), there is no suspicion that the handset is just a new color to a current Sidekick, or a small variance. And there isn’t too much information on the specs but there is no 3G unfortunately. We’ll need to wait longer for that. Thus far, the device itself hasn’t been announced by Sharp or T-Mobile, but since its cleared by the FCC, an announcement can’t be too long away.
