We love the newly unveiled HTC Diamond. The gorgeous looking device is fully loaded specs wise and comes with a wonderful VGA screen and an uber-cool user interface. It doesn’t surprise us at all that HTC plans to ship 2 million units of the Diamond this year. They have already got Taiwan-based Chunghwa Telecom to order about 20,000-30,000 Touch Diamond smartphones. This begs the question – if a Taiwanese mobile operator wants 30,000 units for a country of 23 million people – how many will the likes of AT&T, Verizon, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Orange want?
