Sprint announced on the 8th that starting Monday, customers will be able to switch plans without extending their contracts. Sprint agents will also keep tabs on customers who go over their allotted minutes, making sure the users don't want to change to a plan that better fits their needs. Sprint will also add an extra cancellation service, which allows a pro-rated cancellation fee for those who have been on their current contract for a longer period of time, meaning the longer you stay with Sprint, the cheaper is is to cancel your plan. Sprint has also mentioned launching a special veteran's reward service by early next year, yet will release more details closer to launch.
