Default Samsung Windows Mobile Phone Syncing via Wireless USB

The Samsung's brick-sized SCH-i730 slider phone may seem kinda obsolete, but Alereon is modding the Windows Mobile device to be the first to sync via Certified Wireless USB over UWB. The handset's integrated WiFi obviously has enough bandwidth for the same job, but it doesn't hurt to have a speedier option that promises to transfer at 480Mbps wirelessly. The mod was showcased during this year WinHEC to demonstrate Alereon AL4000 WUSB chipset - the first native device solution approved by USB-IF. The MAC is powered by Stonestreet One's UltraSuite software solution. (They are the same guys who make Bluetopia Bluetooth software stack.) The good news for everyone is that Alereon claims any phones (presumably only in the Windows Mobile category) any there will work with their product given they have a CF or SDIO.
