I don't recall seeing this posted anywhere, so here you go...

Trace Mode

Alt-Cap-H to enter Help
Then z,a,m,l to enter trace mode

Trace Mode: It's a Nextel thing for checking signal strength and quality... I guess it's their answer to the "...can you hear me now..." guy.
