NTT DoCoMo has pushed the envelop yet again where cellphones are concerned by announcing the P905iTV and SH905iTV that will arrive on Japanese shores early next year. These handsets are manufactured by Panasonic and sharp respectively, boasting 3.5" displays that gain their technology from Veira and Aquos LCD TVs with resolutions of 480 x 854 and support for 30fps videos. Each handset will come with integrated TV tuners, Electronic Programming Guide compatibility, and the ability to record TV programs on it! When will the rest of the world catch up with such features? Looks like TiVo-capability on a cellphone has already arrived in Japan, leaving the rest of the world in its dust.
