Allright its time to digg deeper with Helio .So here's a new topic. Please post anything you find out about your phones. The listings below may or may not work on both the Hero and the Kickflip. But they have been tested in Hero
##HELIO#MDN#
Takes you to NAM1 menu where you can edit MDN (your number) and the MIN (activation code)
##(your SPC)#
Service Programming Menu with editable settings for MDN, MIN, CDMA Channel, Home SID-NID, System Select, National Code, Network Code, PRL Use Status, ACCOLC, and EV-DO Mode.
I was able to find out my SPC by running UniCDMA, choosing the SKY phone in the list, clicking the ->DM button, and then clicking read all. (Of course you will have to first change the settings to the COM port of your phone).
Debug Screen
Under the Setup menu, press 0 then enter your SPC as the password. This gives you options for Debug Screen, DM Setting, Session Status, and Data/Fax.
Also,
##33284# (##DEBUG#) Turns on/off the debug menu
GPS Test
Under the Video + Music screen, press 0 then enter your 4-digit passwork for your phone lock (0000 by default). Gives you GPS Test and Test Results....interesting
BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE NEXT ONE!!
##786#
Displays Life Timer, Life Data, Refurb. Status, Man. Date, Hex ESN, Mobile ID, Software Ver., Hardware Ver., PRL Ver., PRI Checksum, and Orig. Act. Date.
This also gives you a soft button option called "Reset".
BE CAREFUL!! This is a factory reset that will leave you with a handset exactly like it was when you first purchased it! You will have to re-activate it by entering your mobile number and the activation code you were given when you first called Helio to activate. Hint: This is the same as the MIN number that can be found with several of the earlier-mention tricks.
Misc..
Under Text -> Pic Messages -> Settings menu
Press # to get a popup box with a bunch of Korean text I can't read and then an editable field which has jvx.mms.helio.com by default.
Press * to get a popup with MMS UserAgent Version, Date, and Time.
Lifting restrictions of the web browser
Menu > 9 > 4 > 1 > 1 > '4 digit pass' (mine is 0000)
Change 'Home URL' to
http://wap.nate.com
Change 'Proxy' to ngb.nate.com
With this you will be able to access a ton of sites that you couldn't with the Helio home url/proxy..
