Now it will be easier for then ever to cnfig your phone.
Step 1: Download the Alltel v3m MONSTER firmware from this site if you haven't already. http://www.humpa.com/vzw/ Step 2: Download PST_7.2.5_GENERAL from this site if you haven't already (YOU MUST HAVE 7.2.5! 7.2.3 WON'T WORK!). http://htr.hxc-host.com/hacktherazr.com-PST_7.25.rar Make sure you read the text file that comes with that! Step 3: Goto Windows Explorer or My Computer and goto C:\Program Files\Motorola\PST. Open up the program MultiFlashFlex.exe. Click Browse Under Flash Setup and direct it to the Alltel firmware you downloaded in Step 1. If and ONLY if it says "Motorola v3m" and "Connected...", then click Start. If it does not say "Connected...", then USE THE SEARCH button on this forum and find out why. Search for Motorola Drivers or something like that. WARNING: This will FLASH your phone! Make sure your battery is fully charged. This could damage your phone if you have a power outage, the cell phone battery dies, you try opening Phone Programmer or many other things. You have been warned! Let that finish. It will take about 10 minutes and you will know it is done when it says "Motorola v3m" and "Connected...". Don't worry if you see "Invalid ESN". That is normal. Step 4:Turn on your phone. Once it is completely turned on, press #073887* Then put in your code, most likely 000000. Step 5: Goto User Activation. Goto NAM 1. Under MIN, put your 10 digit phone number. Under MDN, put your 10 digit phone number. Press Done. Press Back. Press Exit. Let the phone do it's "automatic reset". Step 6: Goto this url and download Razr.rar. Extract the 6 files into one folder. http://www.badongo.com/file/3409805 Step 7: Power your phone off and on. Once your phone is back on, open up Phone Programmer, located at "C:\Program Files\Motorola\PST\UT_NVM.exe". Step 8: Goto File>Open>MobileIP. Then direct it to the folder you extracted Razr.rar to. Open up the .mip file. When you open it, change the %M to your 10 digit phone number. So instead of "%M@mycricket.com", it will be "2125551212@mycricket.com" (or whatever your phone number is). Make sure it "Single IP only" is chosen up top. Up top choose, Phone>Write. Click Yes at the next two boxes that pop up. Step 9: Click File>Open>CDMA PRL. Direct it to the .rla file that you extracted earlier. Click Phone>Write. Step 10: Follow Step 9, this time with the .brw (BREW) file, the .mms (MSS) file, the .rtb (RTT - 1xBrowser) file, and the .rtd (RTT - 1xData) file. Step 11: Restart your phone. Dial *228. Let your phone Activate. You are done! You have your WAP and MMS working on Cricket on Alltel! Enjoy! Note: on the .rtb file, you can change homepage to whatever you want since Cricket opened up the internet. As is, the file is set for the Cricket homepage. Have fun |
