If you have a Audiovox 8910 and trying to reset factory settings to make it ready for resale/reuse and dont know how then just do the following.

Resetting the phone restores all the factory defaults, including the ringer types and display settings. The internal Phone Book, Call History, Scheduler, and Messaging are not affected.
1) Press [MENU] then enter “Password”.
2) Press 8.
3) Read the message (It’ll be erase all data on your phone. Reset Phone?) then press [YES] or [NO]. While in Airplane Mode, your phone’s standby screen will display.
4)When you select “Yes” you will see “Reset Phone! Your cellular telephone will reboot now” on the display and your cellular telephone will reset all settings to the factory defaults.
The default password is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
