AT&T has decided to drop the "fewest dropped calls" ad campaign in response to legal action by one of their competitors (I think Sprint/Nextel). If you look in different places then you will find out that a lot of people are experiencing degraded service. I don't know if this has to do with a widespread rollout of 3G, but something is going on. Add to that the fact that AT&T is changing some its partnering agreements in, at the very least, CA, NV & TX, and they have a right mess on their hands. Of course, I think the same thing happened when Cingular upgraded from TDMA to GSM.
