Default ALT Codes on keyboard revealed for iphone

I was doing some homework on this topic and came to find out about this really neat feature about ALT Codes for all iphones if you dont know what they are, they are special characters such as ¿ © « ¤. The iPhone keyboard can do those not sure if it came with 1.1.1 firmware or its old but i just found them out so i just want to share it with you guys.. This is how u do them. Exp.. to make this " Å " all you have to to is press down on the " A " key and hold it for a few sec, then it will look like the one in my picture.. you can make a " ¿ " " ¡ " just play around and see what u get.Not all the keys have them so just play around with them. You can used them for text and email and websites.. Have fun..

just made sure that its new to 1.1.1 and also looks to have most of the European letters in there - at least French, German, Polish, Serbian, and Spanish. I think all the Scandanavian languages are covered.

Default How To enable the International Keyboard Dictionaries in 1.1.1

To enable the International Keyboard Dictionaries in 1.1.1 your iPhone must be jailbroken and activated.

Just use WinSCP (Windows) or iNdependence (Mac) and go to the SpringBoard.app folder which is in System/Library/CoreServices/ and edit the M68AP.plist file you will find this entry:

<key>international</key>
<false/>

...just set "false" to "true" and restart your iPhone.

A new settings will show up under Settings > General > Keyboard and under General there will be International now.

Enjoy.
