If the iPhone v1.1.3 firmware isn’t as great as you expected it to be, then you’re more than welcome to downgrade to the v1.1.1 firmware .If you want out of the iPhone v1.1.3, follow these steps:
- Download iPHUC
- Download the iPhone v1.1.1 firmware package here
- Extract the package to your desktop (or anywhere that you’ll easily remember - you’ll have to enter the path to this folder, so keep it simple)
- Connect your iPhone/iPod Touch to your computer - quit iTunes if it opens up, or if it’s already running
- Execute iPHUC
- Enter “recovery mode” in iPHUC by issuing the command “enterrecovery” (without quotes, obviously)
- Issue the “filecopytophone” command to copy the v1.1.1 firmware to your iPhone/iPod Touch - it should look something like this:
filecopytophone c:\WTF.s5l8900xall.RELEASE.dfu
or
filecopytophone \Users\IntoMobile\Desktop\v1.1.3downgrade\WTF.s5l8 900xall.RELEASE.dfu
- Hit “Enter”
- Issue the “cmd go” command and hit “Enter”
- Quit iPHUC
- Fire up iTunes and click “OK” when it prompts you about your iPhone/iTouch being in recover mode
- Restore your iPhone/iTouch to the v1.1.1 firmware by Option-Click (Mac) or Shift-Click (Windows) on the “Restore” button
- Locate and choose the v1.1.1 ipsw file
- If you get a 1015 error, issue the “cmd fsboot” command in iPHUC
You now have a fully functioning and jailbreakable iPod Touch or a jailbreakable iPhone that doesn’t make phone calls.Have fun and Good luck
