To get a new phone and keep the same number you pay full retail. some stores have refurb phones just for prepaid upgrades that cost $50.
But if you're willing to get a new number, just setup a new acct and get the phone for a cheaper price. just be aware you'll pay another act fee of $35 and for mins....
