Lets put it this way: if you call someone at 8.30 pm and talk till 9.30 pm non stop then that 1 hr will go against your whenever minutes since you started talking before the free minutes timline. To solve it , you shuld hang up at 9.01 and then call back again. That way you will be using only 30 minutes and other 30 minutes will be free.

This is the flip call of the above. After 6.00 AM I would be using my day minutes but if i made the call at 5.30 Am and went over am I going to get that free? I should right since I would get the shaft calling someone at 8:30 PM for an hour.
